WCK Enhances Enterprise Security Intelligence with Easy GRC – SIEM Integration, May 2013

December 2012,  WCK announces its new Super Risk Module for facilitating easy mapping and analysis of how technical security risks and controls affect ERM and operational residual risk values.  Most organizations find it difficult to connect their IT and security risk management to their  global risk departments. WCK Continues its Contribution to ValueSec for Decision Support Tools for Cyber Incidents, Nov 2012

November 2012,  WCK continues its active contribution to the European Commission ValueSec Project, meeting in Madrid with key project members from Germany, Finland, Norway, Poland and Spain.  Alon Yavin, WCK’s VP of Research & Development and Professional Services participated in the ValueSec final meeting of 2012, dealing with how decision makers of large enterprises and government organizations can deal with cyber incidents.

ValueSec is a European Community funded project for developing a single framework for policymakers who need to take security-related decisions. The framework integrates an economic evaluation with a security risk assessment process. One of the chief project goals is to develop a decision support tool for senior decision makers dealing with security situations such as cyber or terrorist attacks. The framework and decision-support tool encompass three separate but equally valid and important aspects: security risk assessment, economic cost-benefit analysis and qualitative criteria such as public opinion, political and social factors. WCK and Cipher Announce Partnership and First Customer in Brazil, Nov 2012

In November 2012,  WCK and Cipher Security announced a strategic partnership for providing cyber risk management solutions in Brazil.  The partnership will enable Cipher to offer WCK’s state-of-the-art Governance, Risk and Compliance – GRC software as part of their security managed services to Brazil and the rest of South America.  Cipher has already sold the WCK solution to the Fleury Group, one of Brazil’s premier healthcare providers.   Read more…

WCK Contributes to Smart Grid Security in Europe, July 2012

WCK participates in the ISSS Forum in Zurich, June 2012

On the 12th of June 2012, WCK participated in the Information Security Society of Switzerland Forum at IBM Zurich offices, together with over 100 senior IT and information security professionals from Switzerland’s Fortune 500 companies, information security vendors and academia.   The Forum event called ” How Safe are your ‘Safe” IT Systems” was dedicated to the topic of  IT Security Risks and Audits.  WCK focused on the advantages of taking an incremental approach to IT Risk Management and developing a step by step,  incremental approach to implementing IT risk management methodology over an enterprise-wide,  big-bang, all or nothing philosophy which has a high chance of missing the mark.

WCK had been chosen as an SIA partner by McAfee, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel Corporation and the world’s largest dedicated security technology company. As part of WCK’s cooperation with McAfee, bSRM is being integrated with McAfee’s ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), enhancing it with unique capabilities such as adding business context and security risk analysis.
